• Description: On certain Mercedes Benz vehicles and Sprinter vans, routine transmission services at the dealership are an expensive and complicated process due to the design of the original equipment transmission pan and its integrated plastic filter. When the pan is damaged or the filter becomes clogged and threatens the health of the transmission, the dealer requires the purchase of a whole new transmission pan. This Dorman OE FIX transmission pan is designed to match the fit of the original and eliminate the costly need to replace the pan during transmission service. Our rugged, precision-engineered replacement pan uses removable, replaceable transmission oil filters rather than the factory pan's integrated plastic filter. This kit also includes all the tools required to service our filters, along with a filter set and a new gasket to ensure a predictable and straightforward initial installation. Replacing the factory pan with this innovative solution encourages regular service to help prevent costly transmission repair, and can help protect the transmission from harmful contaminants and fluid leaks.
